On the 16th of March, the Selangor Information Technology and E-Commerce Council proudly hosted the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) and Watsons for a talk on the pharmaceutical provider’s e-Commerce offerings, where more than 120 attendees turned up to see what Watsons had to offer from their brand name’s platform.
Speaking about the marketplace platform was Jessica Ng, Chief Customer Officer of Watsons Malaysia, with explanations on the system which is being offered by Watsons.
Products will be uploaded by sellers on the Watsons e-Store, where orders will be communicated to third-party suppliers i.e. the sellers, with logistics fulfilled by a third party logistics firm as well. However, inquiries will be handled by Watsons representatives.
Carol Fung of MDEC also praised SITEC’s role in providing e-Commerce training and assistance to the public, and exhorted those who were looking to move online, or who knew friends who wanted to move online, to visit SITEC.
After the event, consultations with Watsons’ merchandising team were also held to assist merchants with their questions and queries.
